The Golden Latte Recipe
Or Golden Milk
The ingredients
- 3 cl of plant-based milk (preferably, better for digestion), almond or coconut
- 1 tsp coconut oil (for daytime, do not add for an evening tasting)
- 1/2 tsp fresh grated turmeric
- 1 green cardamom pod, slightly opened
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 pinch of crushed black pepper
- maple syrup (if needed)
- turmeric powder to add at the end to color your golden latte
Preparation
Pour make, pour almond milk into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Add the spices and oil, reduce the heat, and let infuse over low heat for 5 minutes. For more flavor, turn off the heat, cover, and let infuse for another 5 minutes.
Strain and add maple syrup if desired.
