What is stress?

Definition: The word stress comes from the Latin "stringere," meaning "to tighten, compress, or constrict." We understand the body's impact on stress management.

The WHO defines health as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being.

Stress is the set of responses of an organism subjected to pressures or constraints from its environment. It involves an intense, sudden effort. Stress is necessary; it requires stimulation to exert effort. When it is occasional, we can manage it more easily. However, when these phases are close together and repetitive, the organism becomes overwhelmed and eventually exhausts itself, no longer resisting the stress, which then becomes harmful. Stress can be caused by our daily tasks, work pressure, financial insecurity, or human relationships; it settles into our daily lives and can become chronic stress. Our body undergoes daily pressures, and we are no longer conscious of it.

Main symptoms of stress

The symptoms of stress are varied; here are a few:

  • short, choppy breathing
  • lack of appetite or, conversely, a craving for sugary foods
  • difficult digestion (bloating, gas, constipation...)
  • headaches
  • back pain
  • restless sleep (night waking, difficulty falling asleep)
  • loss of concentration
  • loss of sense of priorities
  • changing relationships with others: withdrawal
  • self-doubt
  • mental ruminations on professional or personal matters
  • anxiety
  • nervousness
  • and many more...

What is an anti-stress, calming, or relaxing herbal tea?

An anti-stress herbal tea is a drink that can be consumed hot or cold, made with carefully selected plants for their impact on relaxation and their calming effect on the body.

These plants have effects on both the body and the mind.

Why are plants useful in case of stress?

Several reasons indicate plants as an ideal product for stress management.

  1. Infusions: a common beverage. French people consume at least one infusion per day. Herbal teas and infusions are therefore common beverages with which we can address our stress. We can have them readily available in bulk or in sachets.

  2. Infusions: an easy-to-consume and prepare beverage. The preparation time for an infusion is quick: you can let it steep for 10 or 5 minutes and consume it at the office, at home, or on public transport in a thermos. It is recommended to drink 2 to 3 cups per day.

  • A morning or evening routine with yoga.

FAQ

An Ayurvedic herbal tea is designed according to the principles of Ayurveda, an ancient medicine originating from India. It therefore works on the imbalances of each profile. All our herbal drink recipes have been developed with this in mind by the founder after several years of studying Ayurveda. Each ingredient has been carefully selected from ECOCERT certified partners to bring you high-quality flavors and products.

Our herbal teas are decaffeinated and contain no added flavorings. You can drink them throughout the day, starting in the morning to energize yourself without the negative effects of coffee.

To fully enjoy the quality of our herbal teas, you can steep them in quality water (Volvic or Mont Roucous) at 90°C or 70°C, depending on the flavor.

For dosage, simply follow the instructions on the package. A very small amount is sufficient because our herbal teas are made with real pieces of plants.

Ayurveda is an ancient Indian medicine recognized by the WHO since 1982. "Ayur-veda" means "science of life." Holistic, it is based on the effects of the five elements (water, fire, air, earth, ether) on our lives and aims to harmonize mental, physical, and emotional well-being. It is with this in mind that we designed our teas and infusions. Proven effective, Ayurveda has been recognized by the WHO (World Health Organization) since 1982.

Its particularity is that it distinguishes 3 Ayurvedic profiles: Vata, Pitta, Kapha. For each profile, a diet, lifestyle, yoga postures, types of breathing, and meditation are recommended and adapted to the dominant profile.

Originating in India, Ayurveda is holistic in nature, incorporating yoga, meditation, massage, yogic diet, herbs and herbal medicine, spices, lifestyle advice, and more. Another aspect is its customizable nature, as it adapts to each prakriti, constitution, or dosha. There are 3 doshas, and each is linked to 2 natural elements. Vata is linked to air and ether. Pitta is linked to fire and water. Kapha is linked to earth and water.

Each profile has its own characteristics in states of balance and imbalance.

We wanted to develop organic herbal teas that address current Ayurvedic imbalances to provide a tailored solution for your present needs with a holistic approach.
